Our Urban Nest has everything you need for a week, weekend or weeks of urban pleasure. We love travel nurses and medical professionals. Enjoy our fully outfitted 800 sq. ft. apartment just minutes away of all of St. Louis' attractions and some of the best gastronomic treats in the Midwest. Close to area hospitals and St. Louis University.

You will enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with spices, cooking oil and toiletries. Our shore term rentals are equipped with a Green Tea Memory Foam mattresses for a great sleep. Our guests rave about our bed’s comfort.

Guests will love staying here because we have made it a home away from home. The Urban Nest is nicely decorated and close to all the cool neighborhoods in St. Louis.

Guests have access to the entire apartment and the laundry which is right in the apartment.

We have several people in town that help us take care of our guests.  We have local staff and a property manager for maintenance issues.

The Nest is close to downtown, Forest Park, Central West End, the Basilica, Botanical Garden, Cardinal’s Stadium, the convention center, The Grove, Midtown and Benton Park.

Area hospitals are from walking distance to a 10 minute commute. St. Louis University and the medical school are just around the corner.

It’s a 10 minute ride to all of St. Louis’ attractions. Plus, there is rarely any traffic to slow you down.

You could definitely Uber it around the city. Once I get into town, I usually Uber out to dinner. If you have loads of sightseeing to do, you may prefer a car. There is plenty of parking available on the street near our place. We typically park on Lafayette or Spring.

St. Louis is a vibrant city. This location is highly patrolled by the local police due to its super close proximity to St. Louis University. We still advise caution while in the city. Lock your car doors and don’t leave valuables in your car.

The Marquette Buillding is owned by City Castle LLC operated by Lisa Gallagher and Devon Rucker. We bought the building from Jim Roos of Neighborhood Enterprises. Jim had a long history of working with the city to improve St. Louis City neighborhoods. Like many cities, it suffered through a period of suburban flight leaving the city without the tax base and investment to keep the city vibrant. When we took over the building in 2016, the area was just seeing signs of true investment and diversity. This is my favorite building in my portfolio. Totaling 12 units, the apartment building was the 4th 3 story building in the area. One other 3 story building ibuilt by the same builder is the Lafayette which sits opposite the Marquette Building. The St. Louis Daily Globe penned an article, dated December 8 1812, chronicling the building's ground breaking. The building's construction cost a whopping $30,000 back then which was considered to be a tidy sum. The Nest is one of our recently rehabbed units with more modern amenities like a washer/dryer inside the unit and new appliances.. The entire apartment was updated recently. Since Lisa is a world traveler, she loves the experience of meeting and knowing people from all over the world. She feels that world travel is a humbling and mind opening experience that offers the greatest opportunity for world peace.
